Interior Designer Position

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas and exceptional design skills to every project, ensuring functional and visually stunning spaces. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to bring design visions to life.

Your Impact:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals.
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for commercial and multi-family residential projects.
- Prepare detailed design plans, including space layouts, color schemes, furniture selection, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Oversee the sourcing and procurement of furnishings, fixtures, and materials within budgetary constraints.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring designs are delivered on schedule and within scope.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design execution aligns with project plans and specifications.
- Address design-related challenges promptly to maintain project momentum.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Foster strong relationships with clients by maintaining clear communication and exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in commercial or multi-family residential projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and material applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices is a plus.
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent is an advantage.
