This ground-up Take 5 on West Rd was built using a hybrid construction approach: the lower section of the building was constructed on-site with structural cement block, while the upper portion was prefabricated at a factory and set directly on top of the CMU base. This method delivered the precision of factory-built components with the strength of traditional masonry — speeding up the schedule without compromising the structure.
The site itself brought its own challenge. With the property sitting slightly elevated above the sidewalk, we engineered and built a retaining wall to control grade transitions and ensure proper drainage across the lot.
