San Antonio, Texas — Retail

A retail shell, taken apart and given an order.

The unit arrived as a plain retail box: a grid ceiling, worn tile underfoot, and a single open room with nothing to organise it. The work ran the full width of the space — wood-look flooring laid throughout, walls prepared and repainted, and the lighting stripped out and replaced.

Custom stations and partitions give every chair its own defined zone, so the room now reads as a sequence of workstations rather than one undivided floor. A feature wall anchors the far end and carries the High End identity, and the finishes were chosen to hold together as a single interior.

The work

Four things carried the room: what you stand on, what hangs overhead, what divides the floor, and what the far wall says.

  • Flooring
  • Light
  • Stations
  • Feature wall
Ring pendants and track heads against the exposed structure overhead
A run of custom stations, each with mirror, stone top and timber partition

Stations

Built to divide the floor without closing it. Each chair gets its own mirror, worktop and partition, so barbers work in a defined zone and clients sit in something considered rather than shared.
